Thermotraffic obtains organic certification
Versmold – June 1, 2015 – Thermotraffic has been certified according to high quality standards of the LACON institute in Offenburg. The independent certification center confirms Thermotraffic’s successful auditing by awarding the organic certification of the EU. The assessment applies to imports, transport and the storage of ecologically produced food as well as to Thermotraffic’s quality management.
Compliance with the norms according to organic standards and the check by independent centers are of major importance to Thermotraffic. Product safety, quality and transparency are decisive factors for the transport and storage of organic food. By having passed this audit with flying colors, Thermotraffic is very well prepared for the handling of organic produce as well. Importing organic products from third countries outside of the EU can thus safely be handled by the company. At the same time, Thermotraffic proves responsible and sustainable handling of organic food.
Due to this organic certification, Thermotraffic further specializes in food transport and thus expands its transport offer in the EU. The high requirements on the logo lead to strong confidence of all market participants and with this to an increase in demand.
