Thermotraffic Holland B.V. receives ISO certification for the second time
Rotterdam – September 8, 2015 – Thermotraffic Holland B.V. has again received the International Organization for Food Safety certificate (ISO 22000:2005). The independent organization dealing with highly qualified certifications Kiwa Nederland B.V. confirmed the successful re-audit of the Rotterdam based company with the ISO 22000 certificate. The ISO standard guarantees transparency of the entire supply chain, based on an international rating system. Thermotraffic’s quality management met the demands for the transport of temperature-controlled foodstuff at national as well as international level.
The ISO 22000 certification is bound to strict guidelines. During verification the capability of the company takes precedence when concerning handling of temperature-controlled goods. Among other things, the quality of the implemented measures, treatment of sensitive products and food safety are considered thoroughly.
The compliance of the set norms by ISO and checks by independent organizations are of great importance to Thermotraffic. Product safety, quality and transparency are decisive factors for the transport and storage of foodstuff. ISO 22000 is applicable in all means of transport and for all goods, independent from the fact if they are transported frozen, chilled or non-chilled.
