1983 Formation of Thermotraffic GmbH by Heinrich Peter Loos as managing director
1984 Start of operations (first location: Halle/Westphalia); opening of branch offices in Oldenburg (now Bremerhaven) and Gelsenkirchen
1987 Opening of branch office in Hamburg and formation of Thermotraffic Holland B.V. in Rotterdam, with Peter Kraan as managing director until his retirement in December 2011
1989 Heinrich Peter Loos sells his shares to Nichirei Corp., Tokyo and becomes CEO for all Thermotraffic group companies in Europe until his retirement in June 2009
1990 Opening of Thermotraffic Holland B.V.‘s branch office in Venlo and of Thermotraffic GmbH’s branch office in Munich
1992 Acquisition of Eurofrigo’s Extenso B.V. seaport forwarding by Thermotraffic Holland B.V., Rotterdam
1993 Opening of Thermotraffic GmbH’s UK representative office in Dover (now in Bedford)
1994 Move of Thermotraffic Holland B.V., Rotterdam, to offices in the new Eurofrigo complex (with customs and veterinary control) in Distripark Eemhaven in Rotterdam
